This policy explains how Astral Signals handles personal information when you use the site or purchase a personalized astrology product.

Information we collect

Depending on the product, we may collect your name, email address, birth date, birth time, birth location, preferred language, purchase identifiers, and information about another person where you request a compatibility report and are entitled to provide that information.

How we use it

We use this information to calculate astrology data, generate and deliver personalized reports, manage memberships, link a Gumroad purchase to the correct report request, provide support, prevent abuse, maintain transaction records, and comply with legal obligations.

Astrology calculations and automated generation

Birth date, time, and location are processed by our astrology calculation systems to determine chart positions and related data. Narrative reports may then be generated with the assistance of artificial-intelligence service providers. We instruct these systems to use calculated chart data rather than inventing placements or outcomes.

Location processing

When necessary to calculate a chart, the city and country of birth may be sent to a geocoding service to determine geographic coordinates and time-zone information. Names, email addresses, and payment-card details are not required for that geocoding step.

Digital gifts

When you buy a gift, we collect the purchaser email, sender and recipient names, your optional message, and (if you request scheduled direct delivery) the recipient email address and delivery date. Birth details are requested from the recipient only when they choose to redeem the private link. We use this information to verify payment, send the gift, prevent duplicate redemption, and generate the report. The purchaser does not receive the recipient's birth details or personal report through the gifting workflow. Anyone with the gift link may activate it once, so share it privately.

Payment data

Payments are handled by Gumroad. Astral Signals does not store your full card number or card security code. Gumroad processes payment and billing information under its own privacy terms.

Service providers

We may use infrastructure, email-delivery, artificial-intelligence, geocoding, analytics, and payment providers to operate the service. We limit information shared with each provider to what is reasonably necessary for its function.

Report links and security

Personalized reports may be delivered through a long, unguessable secure link. We store a cryptographic hash of the access token and may record when the report link is viewed. Do not forward a report link if you do not want another person to access the report.

Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the purchased service, support customers, maintain required transaction records, prevent abuse, and comply with applicable law. Secure report links may expire and can be replaced when appropriate.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain a copy of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions. Use the contact form on Astral Signals to make a privacy request.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards including HTTPS, access controls, isolated services, and token-based access for personalized reports.
